Ghost Ranch Retreat Center near Abiquiu, New Mexico
Start planning now for this extraordinary workshop at Ghost Ranch. Ghost Ranch is 21,000 acres of red rock circled by blue sky. Join us in O’Keeffe Country and immerse yourself in the magic and power of Ghost Ranch. The workshop schedule includes time to wander in the extrordinary canyons and mesas of the Southwest.
Activities include pastel painting and sketching, mixed media watercolor painting and expressive writing. No previous experience is necessary. Workshop fee is $889 single/double occupancy (dorm style) for Thursday 2 PM through Sunday 12 PM. Fee covers all meals, room/board, studio space, tuition and art supplies. Inquire about room upgrades with private baths. A small materials fee will be payable at the time of the workshop. Join Jane on an excursion to Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu. On Friday evening, the class will meet in the studio in Santa Fe, where Jane will teach you how to create brilliant color with pastel techniques. On Saturday, the class will meet in Abiquiu. You will create expressive paintings of the canyons and mesa where O’Keeffe found inspiration. You must supply your own transportation and materials. Materials can be supplied for an additional fee. Contact Jane for details.
