Explore how winter affects your energy, insights and creativity. For some, the crisp, chilly air inspires the excitement of crystalline clarity. For others, the darkenss and cold of winter evokes experiences of loss.  Utilizing expressive art and writing, learn more about how the winter cycle is reflected in the psyche as part of personal growth and change. The environment that has evolved after our elections can be seen as part of a cycle, the endless dark and cold of winter.  Ways that we can work with this will also be part of this workshop.

Ghost Ranch Retreat Center near Abiquiu, New Mexico

Research indicates that accessing nonlinear and multidimensional experience leads to greater natural responsiveness and better communication. The emphasis will be on process versus product and no previous art experience is needed. Mixed media expressive art activities will take place both on the grounds of beautiful Ghost Ranch and in the studio. For this 2017 session, participants also have the option to work with  Debbi Kapp Brody, acclaimed poet and teacher.
